Friends cycle 1000km to raise awareness about owls
Two men from johannesburg have cycled from port elizabeth to cape town to raise awareness about the plight of owls.
They completed the first leg of their journey between port elizabeth and cape town a day before the final leg that includes participating in the cape town cycle tour.
The cape town cycle tour is the worlds largest timed cycle race.
The owl rescue centre is located in potchefstroom in the gauteng province and they are one of the few centres who rehabilitate owls for reintegration into the wild.
