Footage shows the international arrivals terminal at Suvannabhumi international airport in Bangkok, Thailand, deserted during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Video from a member of staff last Monday (March 23) morning shows the empty baggage carousel. There were only airport staff walking around the hall amongst the quiet surroundings, said the fillmer.

A travel ban came into effect on March 22 preventing anyone - including Thai nationals - from entering the country without coronavirus insurance and health certificates or letters from their embassy.

This was updated on March 26 to be a blanket ban on any foreigners without work permits or diplomatic status from entering the country until further notice.
