A car crashed into a guardrail which then went straight through the vehicle in southern China yet leaving the passengers unharmed

In CCTV footage captured in Chongqing, southern China, the car was driving on the road with four people inside and suddenly shifted towards the guardrail in the middle of the road.

The vehicle kept moving forward while the guardrail pierced through the front of the car.

It’s reported that the forepart of the car was seriously damaged and the 20-metre-long guardrail has been broken.

However, the guardrail knocked off by the car hit an electric two-wheeled vehicle in the opposite lane, causing injury to the driver who has been hospitalised.

According to the local traffic police, the four people in the car were planning to buy some food and the accident happened due to a misoperation.

The video was captured on April 2 and provided by local media.
