A Filipino man wore an Ant-Man character costume as COVID-19 protective equipment while doing a grocery run.

Carlo Angelo Garces, 32, from Mandaluyong City, the Philippines said he might as well use his Marvel Comics costumes to have layers of body protection since he doesn't have anywhere else to wear them during the coronavirus quarantine.

The costume collector also said that he wants to make people around him smile during these hard times.

He said: "It feels good to spread good vibes especially during this time of crisis when people are very anxious."

Ministers in the Philippines have enforce sweeping travel restrictions and curfews to stop the spread of the pandemic.
