Terrifying moment wounded wild elephant suddenly charges vets
A team of Indian vets was forced to run for it recently when a wounded wild elephant they were monitoring charged them without warning.
The injured animal was reported to the forest department by local residents in Gudalu in southern India in mid-April.
A team of officials and vets located the animal and began to treat it by feeding it fruit laced with medicine.
On a routine visit on April 26th, the team was filming the elephant when it charged suddenly.
The vets were forced to sprint away to avoid being trampled by the trumpeting creature.
Fortunately, the animal abandoned its chase and wandered back into the jungle.
According to officials, the elephant has now made a full recovery.
