The Ar-Rosuli Islamic boarding school in Keji Village, Ungaran District, Semarang Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia, has a solution so that residents who pray in congregation inside the mosque will not be infected by coronavirus, Thursday, May 21, 2020.

The boarding school manager makes innovation by installing plastic as a barrier for residents when performing prayers.

In this way, residents do not need to maintain physical distance too far when performing prayers. With this curtain, residents will certainly not be infected with the virus because there is plastic that becomes a shield.

The boarding school administrator, Abdul Qodir, said that the manager deliberately made transparent plastic curtains to be installed among residents who were praying so that during prayers the congregation did not need to maintain physical distance.

"In addition to installing plastic curtains we also continue to implement health protocols to prevent coronaviruses in this mosque," Abdul said.

Plastic curtains are installed starting from the floor base to as high as 190 centimeters. Several pieces of plastic were placed extending from the back of the imam to the outer border of the mosque. While the distance between plastic is about 70 centimeters.

According to Abdul, the installation of plastic curtains has been calculated, starting from the height that must be above the heads of residents.

"If there are residents who cough or sneeze, there is no droplet that spurts into the congregation next to it. Even if we come into contact with other residents next door, we don't need to be afraid because the plastic curtain has been protected, "he said.
