Flash floods hit Mbuwu Village, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, Monday 24 June 2024 at around 13.30 WITA. Hundreds of residents' houses sank.

In the video you can see a number of houses sinking. Apart from that, two residents' houses were swept away by strong flood currents.

The Donggala Regional Disaster Management Agency reported that flash floods occurred due to high intensity rain from morning to evening so that the river water in Mbuwu Village overflowed and drowned residential areas.

The flood water height is estimated to be three meters.

There were no fatalities in this incident, but two residents' houses were swept away by the flood.

Currently the rain is still ongoing at the location, while more than 200 residents have fled to safe places.
