Centipede Catches Crab For Lunch
This is the gruesome moment a huge centipede was seen killing a crab in a thick bush before dragging its big meal back to its lair.
Kittiphong Suk-aum recorded the dangerous insect in his garden in Nakhon Ratchasima, north eastern Thailand on April 18.
He said: "I have never seen a centipede eating a crab before, it was amazing."
Centipedes are generally venomous, which can inflict painful bites to humans. Even though they have poor vision, they can find prey, such as small reptiles, birds and rats, by using their antennae.
Contrary to popular beliefs, centipedes do not exactly have 100 legs but vary between 30 to 354.
On June 18, a woman was rushed to hospital after being bitten by a giant centipede which crawled into her bed as she slept in Chachoengsao, Thailand.
