Former 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge Arlene Phillips CBE joined ballet dancers posing outside the Houses of Parliament in London on Monday (October 26) who were demonstrating for more support for the live events industry during the coronavirus pandemic.

The protest, organised by We Make Events, saw dancers wearing t-shirts reading "I am Fatima", a reference to the government-backed Cyber First advertising campaign that went viral which included a poster encouraging a ballerina to retrain in cyber.

It is the first of several protests taking place this week in Parliament Square. We Make Events stated their aim is "to showcase the breadth of live events and the technical supply chain that support them, and that live events need government policies in place to help people to return to work and further financial aid until everyone can return."
