Hundreds of Londoners rode the Underground metro system in their underwear on Sunday (January 11) for the annual 'No Trousers Tube Ride'.

The stunt sees passengers remove their trousers whilst riding one of London's famous Tube trains and travel the subway network in their underpants.

Participants were spotted all over the Tube, at stations such as Paddington, Barbican and Moorgate. They chanted, "trousers off, pants on".

The event is inspired by Improv Everywhere's 'No Pants Subway Ride' which started in New York City in 2002.
