The world's largest Buddha Avalokiteshvara statue made of immortelle flowers was captured in Vietnam.

The impressive video, shot in the city of Dalat on November 22, shows a 17-metre-high Buddha Avalokiteshvara statue named "Quan The Am ("Bodhisattva statue" in English) being made up of around 650,000 immortal flowers.

It took 36 days for 30 artisans and 600 Buddhists to complete the product on December 31, 2009 and then the flowers are renewed every two years.

The statue is located at Linh Phuoc Pagoda, Dalat City. The statue is displayed at the temple for Buddhists and visitors to visit.

In 2017, the statue was set a record by the Guinness Records as the largest flower statue in the world.
