This is the moment tiny bugs wrestle each other before mating while perched on a dewy leaf in Singapore.

Insect enthusiast Chan Jan Kai found the little creatures while walking around a park in Choa Chu Kang.

He said: ''At first I thought they were trying to kill for food. I didn’t know they were doing a love dance.''

Insects display acts of courtship which varies depending on the species. Generally, females are often stroked by the males, by use of legs or antennae.

Dance patterns may be performed through the fluttering of wings while moving in circles and doing short flights.
