Dust storm hits Bhubaneswar, India, after strong wind and dry weather
A dust storm battered homes in Eastern India on Sunday evening (March 28). Footage shows the dust and dirt clouding buildings in Bhubaneswar, the capital city in the state of Odisha.
Dust storms are caused when strong wind whips through an area that has been ravaged by dry weather and drought. The gusts then collect pieces of dried soil and earth that have broken away from the ground’s surface before picking them up and clouding the air.
