Thousands march against poverty and incoming unemployment insurance reform in Nantes, France

More than 4.000 people gathered in Nantes France at Place Graslin to denounce an incoming reform of the unemployment insurance. This reform would make it harder for people to claim benefits and diminish the accessibility for newly unemployed. The march was also meant to denounce the lack of public service funding, the privatizations and the budget cuts, the closing of shops and culture places because of Covid19 restrictions. The march turned around the downtown in a party like mood, with music and happenings. After 2hours, the march came back to its starting point and the remainers dispersed
