Burmese students in London brought their four day long protest hunger strike to a close this evening (April 27) with a ceremony.

The three men, members of the UK and Eire Burmese Students' Union demonstrated close to St Thomas' Hospital against the Myanmar military coup, urging the UK to recognise the country's National Unity Party and to declare the Burmese military as a terrorist organisation.

This follows the coup that took place in February and attacks against peaceful protesters that have resulted in over 745 deaths.
In London, the ambassador to the UK was ousted out by members of the military attaché who seized the embassy building earlier this month.
