This is the heartwarming moment a girl surprises her grandparents to tell them she's officially qualified - as a doctor. Philippa Wright showed up on Billy and Dorothy's doorsteps to break the news and says she owes much of her achievement to the couple. Philippa, 27, said she sees her grandparents at least a few times a week at their home in Bedlington, Northumberland.

"They’ve been my rock since I was born," she said. "I’m very close to my grandparents, they’re like second parents to me. They’ve been there for me throughout the highs and the lows, and as they’re getting old now, I’d always hoped that they’d still be here to see me become a doctor one day. They’ve always been my biggest supporters and despite always having faith in me, were probably just as nervous as me on results day!"
