A smart mechanic claimed he successfully modified a motorcycle to run on water instead of gasoline.
Marcelo Alberca, 44, showed off his unique two-wheeler with water bottles and hose pipes attached on its Cebu province, the Philippines.
He said: ‘I love watching television and reading books about inventions. I experimented on this water fuel for more than ten years and worked hard to make it possible.
‘Water fuel gives big savings. On gasoline, I spend about 300 pesos but when it comes to water fuel, the cost is only 30 to 35 pesos.’
‘I thought of doing this to help my family as well, to save money especially since I have children. It’s also good that it can help reduce pollution.’
