Over-diligent maid of honour picks up bride’s train as she walks down the aisle in the Philippines
There were charming scenes in Cebu, the Philippines, when an over-diligent maid of honour panicked and picked up the bride's gown as she walked down the aisle.
The well-meaning young lady appeared to be unaware that it was supposed to trail along the ground.
Footage shot on 28 July showed the woman in a red dress gathering the train between her arms and refusing to let it touch the stone floor.
But her determination to keep the white dress pristine did not upset wedding coordinator Lary Bacunawa, who said: "The maid of honour really did her job well. She didn’t want the gown to be dirtied on the floor."
