A huge spectacled cobra was found rummaging around a home in Mysore, Karnataka.

Mohammed Umar Shariff was called to help remove and relocate the extremely venomous snake.

He said: "I got the call from a person and he explained the snake situation to me. Then, I picked my gear and moved toward the rescue location. Once I reached there, I got to see the spectacled cobra coiled up in the corner of their entrance.

"I picked it up using the snake hook and it was very aggressive and defensive. I ended up picking it up by its tail with the hook placed near its mid-body. After that, I bagged the snake inside the snake bag."

The cobra was later released into the wild.
