Parents climbed onto guardrails to get glimpses of their children on the first day of school in China.
The video, filmed in the city of Beijing on September 1, shows parents squatting down or climbing onto the guardrails to see their children inside a primary school.
It was the first day of school on September 1 but parents were only allowed to stay at the school gate for a short time.
Since it was the first day of school for the year one students, their parents were worried and wanted to check if the children were OK.
