Jars of Chinese liquor broke and leaked out at a warehouse due to a magnitude 6 earthquake in southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Luzhou in Sichuan Province on September 16 shows firemen spraying water to dilute the strong liquor called Baijiu on the floor, before using the explosion-proof pump to clean the liquor and water.

Due to the magnitude 6 earthquake, over 170 out of 1818 jars broke, and around 200 tonnes of Baijiu leaked out onto the floor in a warehouse.

After the fire risk was resolved, the unbroken jars were transferred to a safe place.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
