A group of 18 elephants of Kanha National Park in Mandala(MP) will get special treatment and they will enjoying their leisure time for a week for now starting 23rd September . During this rejuvenation Week those elephants who does patrolling and other works will take rest and will get treated as a guest . During this time elephants will get massages , they will have special bath arrangements and will enjoy fruits and juices , also delicious foods specially made for them . A special Kitchen area has been set up to cook foods for them . On September it was the first day of camp and Park officials were also present there to greet the elephants , officials themselves served foods and massages them . During this time elephants are brought to camp from forest and are given Massages from Neem leaves oil .After Massage they were given with Fruits like Sugarcane , Bananas , Mango , Pineapples and Coconuts . After breakfast they go back to forest area . During afternoon hours they come back to camp and takes bath . After bath a special lunch arrangements are made from them . During this camp Elephants overall medical check up are done . According to park officials these elephants work for 12 months , but during rainy season we conduct a week rejuvenation camps for elephants so that they get rejuvenated and fresh energy . The Rejuvenation camp will end on 29th September
