India successfully launched its new generation Agni Prime missile off the coast in eastern India's Odisha on December 18. The incident took place in Abdul Kalam Island in Balasore.

Visuals feature the missile launch. As it gets launched towards the sky, a cloud of flames erupts from it. Within seconds, dense clouds of white smoke engulf the area as the launch vehicle soars into the sky while the others behold the occurrence.

The Angi-P missile is a new variant of the Agni class that is a two-stage canister missile with a range capability of up to 2,000 km (1,242 miles). Moreover, the launch met all the mission objectives with utmost accuracy.
