A bus driver in Taiwan demonstrated why it is always a good idea to look before you pull out into traffic.

In video shot on 22 November 2021, a bus in New Taipei City pulled out into the road, forcing a moped alongside it to brake hard.

Unfortunately the moped behind that rider had not allowed enough stopping distance, and careered straight into the first bike, knocking them both onto the road.

Fortunately, a cement truck passing by was able to avoid crushing the second rider, lying on the road.

No one was seriously injured in the accident in Datong District but the mopeds were severely damaged.

So who was at fault? The bus driver for not waiting before pulling out, or the second moped for not allowing enough stopping distance?
