Cosplayers and anime enthusiasts flocked to the Japan Expo Thailand in Bangkok to celebrate Japanese culture.

Some of the participants arrived at the CentralWorld shopping complex dressed as characters from popular games and anime series such as Genshin Impact and My Hero Academia.

Guests were treated to musical numbers and greetings from Japanese artists projected onto a screen, while idol groups also performed synchronised dances on a platform.

A Pokemon Unite tourney was also held, where contestants showed off their mobile gaming prowess.

Visitors were free to eat and shop at 15 different zones at the event, including stalls where fans can purchase artists' works as non-fungible tokens or NFTs.

Japan Expo Thailand is an annual event organised to strengthen relations between Thailand and Japan through various aspects of Japanese culture and content like food, culture, education, and entertainment.
