Footage showed the devastation after mudslides again hit West Pasaman Regency in West Sumatra, Indonesia, overnight on Monday 28 February.

Heavy rains on Monday caused the river in Kajai Sawah Village to overflow, causing landslides in 11 places, damaging structures and blocking roads.

The area was also hit by an earthquake and mudslides on 25 February.

Clean-up efforts began on Tuesday, involving firefighters, the army and other agencies.

Motorists have been warned to be careful on routes in the area, particularly if the weather looks like it might turn bad.
