Ukraine's Armed Forces catch looter and tie him to tree. They ask: 'are you ashamed of stealing?'
This footage, which was filmed on March 4 on Kyiv's main street, Khreshchatyk, shows Ukraine's Armed Forces catching a Ukrainian looter.
Soldiers tie him to a tree using thick transparent tape to prevent his escape while waiting for other officers.
One of the soldiers pulls the looter's ear, forcing him to look at the camera. Instead, the man looks down, probably ashamed and fearful.
According to the person who filmed this video, Ukrainian soldiers ask the man for more information about what he stole. They tell him that he could have asked for money instead of stealing, and add that they would have helped him if he sought assistance.
The officers also ask him if he is ashamed of stealing when the rest of his nationals are fighting for their country. He nods.
