This is the touching moment a pack of dogs helped their friend that was struggling to climb up from a pond.

Video taken in Phayao province, northern Thailand on February 16 shows the two-year-old dog named Daeng trying to lift himself out from the water. However, Daeng's soaked fur weighed him down while the slippery banks caused him to slide back into the pool despite his efforts.

Four other dogs were seen trying to help Daeng, including two of his best pals, Gypsy and Hanoi. The pack banded together and tried to pull Daeng up by his ears.

After a few seconds of tugging, the drenched dog managed to climb up onto the ground safely.

Pet parent Shu Udompan said: 'I wonder if Daeng would be able to climb up on his own if it weren't for the other dogs. They looked very cute helping each other.'
