This snake catcher casually removes a cobra from the foundations of a construction site in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Visuals from March 22 shows Kiran, the snake catcher, hopping down into the construction site and casually picking up the cobra with a stick.

Once out of the building foundations, Kiran places the cobra into a plastic container so he can safely release it back into the wild.

venomous cobra was rescued from a neighbourhood in southern India's Andhra Pradesh after the reptile strayed into the locality.

The incident took place on March 22 in Pendurthi, a neighbourhood in Visakhapatnam city of the eponymous district.

Visuals showed greeting the snake catcher and pointing at the snake that was lying in one corner of a trench that was dug for the construction of a building.

The rescuer slowly gets down to the trench, grabs the snake by a snake stick, and pulls it out. He then climbs up, while holding the stick and keeping the venomous reptile at a length.

The rescuer, identified as Kiran, then proceeds to put the snake inside a plastic jar. He also takes the help of a screwdriver to put the snake inside the jar. Once the reptile slithers in, he fastens the lid of the container.
