A man captured a four-feet long cobra that was sitting on a table in a university classroom in India's State of Madhya Pradesh.

On September 23, an employee at Dr. Hari Singh Gour University noticed the snake and immediately told one of the professors about it. Snake catcher Akeel Baba rushed to the site.

Baba only managed to capture the reptile after 10 minutes of struggle. The big cobra was scared so it kept trying to strike the man.

Baba bravely brought the snake outside and then put it inside a plastic jar. The cobra was safely released into a forest.

A snake was rescued from the classroom of a university in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

The incident took place in Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar district on September 23.

Visuals showed the cobra once sitting on the table and then on the podium of the classroom. The rescuer Akeel Baba was trying to tame the snake. After 10 minutes of struggle, he was able to capture the reptile.

He brought the snake outside the classroom on the road and filled it inside a plastic jar.

According to reports, the cobra sat in the classroom of the Hindi department of the university. One of the employees saw the snake and was shocked. The panicked employee came back from the classroom and informed the professor, after which the snake catcher Akeel Baba was called to the university.

After the effort, the four- feet long cobra sitting under the bench at the back of the classroom was caught. The angry cobra kept trying to strike the catcher. It was safely released in a forest.
