Spooky Northern Lights appear from behind clouds in Iceland in stunning 4K time-lapse
The Northern Lights appeared from behind clouds at night in Iceland in stunning footage captured by accident during the shooting of night-sky time-lapse in the early hours of 29 March.
The Aurora Borealis suddenly appeared, shining bright and spooky, in the pictures shot around 2am at Laxhus guest house, south of Husavik in northern Iceland.
The footage was captured while the filmer themselves was asleep -- they had left the camera, an EOS R6, running overnight
The lens was a Samyang 12mm F2.8 fisheye adapted with Viltrox 0.71x speed booster to shoot F2.0 and 8.5mm near-circular fisheye view.
The northern lights were not predicted to be big in the forecast but in northern Iceland even a low forecast can produce amazing sights, weather permitting.
The next nights could produce even more spectacular aurora sights.
