A dramatic video has emerged from China of a construction site collapsing - just slowly enough for workers to escape injury.

In the footage, captured by a worker on the site in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province earlier this month, an unstable wall can suddenly be seen starting to collapse - taking more structure with it.

As the destruction snowballs the workers shout to eachother to get back

According to local reports there were no casualties after workers dodged the debris before it fell into the site's pit.

The construction was taking place in Qianhai - a planned international finance district the Chinese government hope will equal Wall Street, the City of London or Hong Kong’s Central District.
