Worker narrowly escapes being crushed by massive crane
This is the miraculous moment a worker narrowly escapes being crushed by a massive crane in China.
Shocking footage shows the man standing and looking at his phone, seemingly unaware of the danger, while other workers quickly flee the area after noticing the crane starting to topple.
Oblivious to the unfolding emergency, the worker continues staring at his screen until the towering construction equipment comes crashing down just beside him.
The crane, reportedly 22 storeys high, slams into a pile of concrete bricks as the man ducks for cover at the last possible second.
Emergency services, including police, firefighters, and medics, were quickly dispatched to the site.
Local media reported that there were no casualties, and even the crane operator survived the terrifying incident.
Authorities are investigating what caused the crane to collapse in Nanjing, Jiangsu, on April 27.
