This is the heartstopping moment a pickup truck reversed over a toddler - who miraculously survived unscathed.

The youngster was playing with his older sister outside their home when the vehicle began moving backwards down the street.

CCTV shows how the girl leapt up as the car approached but left her sibling sitting on the concrete playing with his toys.

He was unaware of the truck until the bumper whacked him on the forehead and rolled over him in Saraburi, central Thailand, on May 21.

Miraculously, the boy's small size meant that the undercarriage went over without touching him.

As the driver stopped the boy crawled out from under the front bumper. His worried mum had heard what had happened and ran into the street.

She said: 'I won't let my children sit in the street like this anymore. I'm just thankful they are both alive. He was so close to being killed.

'The driver should have seen them sitting there and stopped.'
