This is the dramatic moment a pick-up truck toppled over after hitting a wheel that flew loose from another truck.

Yunyong Prompan, 33, was driving to work when he noticed the front left wheel come loose from his vehicle in Nakhon Pathom province, Thailand on March 17.

Shocked Yunyong reportedly tried to drive back to pick up the wheel, but before he could reach it, another truck had run over the tyre and flipped over sideways onto the median strip before skidding to the middle of the road.

The truck's driver, 47-year-old Jirasak Sattawatterakul, miraculously emerged from the damaged truck unscathed.

He said: ‘Before the truck flipped over, I was speeding to overtake a car in the right lane. The moment I saw the wheel, I swerved my truck to avoid it.'

Yunyong said: ‘I think the technician did not fit the wheel in properly the day before, so it came off. I did not double-check too.'

Nobody was reported injured in the accident. Local officers have asked both men to come to the police station for questioning.
