This is the adorable moment hundreds of ducks raced each other to cross a road in Thailand.

The flock had just finished feeding at a rice paddy and were about to return to a farm in Nonthaburi on May 7.

As the traffic was held up, the ducks scurried off to the other side while motorists waited to pass through.

Footage shows the British breed Khaki Campbell ducks adorably racing each other to the other side of a road as farmers guided them.

Motorist Ploy Sizaza said: ‘We waited for almost half an hour but it's fine. We watched the cute ducks pass by.'

Thai farmers practice a long-standing tradition ‘ped lai thoong' where a large flock of ducks were taken to rice paddies to eat snails and other pests. It helped control the pests naturally for farmers while providing free food to the birds.
