A large flock of duck waddled along a road, blocking the way of drivers in rural Thailand.

Footage shows hundreds of birds going against the flow of traffic in Loei province.

The farm animals stopped 20ft away from the motorists and followed their owner's command to pass through the other lane.

They obediently followed the one in front until they cleared out of the vehicles' way on April 1.

Road user Samanas Kojorn said: 'Those ducks were smart. They knew where to go and followed instructions really well.'

Ducks are often used as natural pest control, especially in rice fields and organic farms. They eat insects, snails, and weeds that damage crops.
