A commuter saved himself from a disaster by a whisker as the culvert road he was walking across caved in due to floods . The incident happened on 16th June around 10 am in morning at Kuthrijhar area of Baksa district in Assa .
According to the eyewitness Usman Goni who is a local resident , there is heavy rain from last couple of days and water flow is very heavy , this is a connection bridge . From quote some time we were noticing that it was about to fall , we started shouting and alerting Ramjan Ali who was crossing the bridge . The bridge immediately collapsed the moment he crossed it . His life saved in fraction of seconds .
