Woman cuts homeless man’s hair and ends up MARRYING him – going viral on TikTok with sweet love story Part 1
A woman who gave a homeless man a haircut has revealed how the pair ended up married – sharing the sweet love story with fans on TikTok.
Luz Yesenia Geronimo Cerna, 30, from Nuevo San Juan, Michoacán, Mexico, met Juan Mendoza Alvizar, 31, outside of an Oxxo shop where he was washing cars in 2009.
She spoke to Juan, who was living rough at the time, and asked if she could give him a make-over.
The TikTok starts with photos of the shop and the surrounding grounds, showing the conditions Juan was living in while on the streets.
A picture of Juan at the time is shown, with dirt on his face and unkempt hair.
Luz then transforms him, helping him out with a new haircut and clean, so he looks clean and fresh.
The clip cuts to photos of Luz, Juan and their three children – Larissa, 12, Kimberly, nine, and three-year-old Zazil – with the duo marrying in 2011.
"It was love at first sight," Luz told NeedToKnow.online of their first meeting.
“The first thing I saw was his way of treating people.
“[After cutting his hair] I was a bit surprised – it looked super good.
"Our relationship was good from the beginning and was what I was looking for. And with his super good family they tell me that they love me like their daughter and that's how they treat me.”
Juan now works as a bricklayer and fixes mobile phones in his spare time.
Luz shared the clip with the caption: “There is no doubt that he who seeks finds, I found the other half that I needed with him.”
The TikTok received over 4.7 million views and racked up 331,000 likes.
One person commented: "I'M GOING TO OXXO."
While another user joked: "You can find everything in Oxxo, what amazing service" followed by a laughing emoji.
Someone else said: "Right, I'm going to live in the dumps."
"You are a queen, you actually gave him a chance in the world!" commented another fan.
"You still look so good together," added another viewer.
