A kind driver rescued a lost kitten that was stuck on a busy road in Thailand.

The motorist Nutthaporn, 26, was travelling through Chon Buri province on June 21 when she spotted the tiny feline which had fallen from a pickup truck in front of them.

The animal was disoriented and did not move despite the oncoming cars, prompting the driver to stop in the middle of the road to pick it up.

Nutthaporn pulled over and her partner rushed out to save the stranded moggy. They adopted the kitten, which they named Thong.

The motorist said: 'I was driving and all of a sudden, I noticed the kitten and would have run over her.

'She's a beautiful healhy female kitten with blue eyes. We took her home and notified the local government office, in case anybody is looking for her. But we have still not heard anything so we have named her Thong and adopted her.'
