China bus passenger causes accident after missing stop
Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of a female pedestrian being hit by a bus as a passenger tried to seize control of the steering wheel - to force the driver to pull over.
In the video, captured on bus security cameras in Guizhou Province earlier this month, the bus can be seen hitting the woman before smashing into a barrier as the passenger argues and goes for the steering.
According to local reports the man tried to grab at the wheel after the driver missed his stop, and is now in police custody. The pedestrian survived the accident, escaping with fractures.
