Thousands of tourists crammed into swimming pool at water park in China
Thousands of tourists were crammed into a swimming pool at a water park in northern China.
Video filmed in the city of Daqing in Heilongjiang Province on August 7 shows thousands of people with inflatable rubber rings squashed against each other in the pool.
A man named Liu witnessed the scene when he went to Heiyuhu Water Amusement Park with his family.
An employee of the water park said to Heilongjiang Television that it is normally busy like this during weekends and holidays. So they advised tourists to visit during off-peak times.
The park has started to limit the number of tourists as a result of the cramped swimming pool.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
