A Russian-armoured tank convoy is seen left in pieces on the edge of Kyiv city centre on Wednesday (August 10), with curious locals clambering to take a closer look.

Traces of an ambush can be seen in the surrounding area with spent rocket launchers and bullet cartridges from Ukrainian forces.

The convoy is now a tourist attraction with many people stopping to take photos and also collect souvenirs.

A blood-stained shirt can be seen hanging off one of the destroyed tanks. It's apparent that some of the vehicles attempted to turn around but were destroyed in the process.

This was spotted on the main highway between Kyiv and the direction of the Belarus border, the Russian military used this road regularly during their occupation of the surrounding suburbs of Kyiv but have now been pushed back by the Ukrainian military.
