East Jakarta Fire Department Evacuates Pythons in Trees
On Jl. Youth, 001/004, Ex. Jatinegara Kaum, Kec. Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta, a resident reported that there was a snake whose position was on the Angsana tree with a height of about 6 meters.
The Pulo Gadung Sector rescue officers were immediately launched to the location by deploying 1 unit and 5 personnel.
Handling started at 09.30 WIB. Officers tried to cut the tree branches to facilitate evacuation. After being cut, the snake was successfully secured and the handling was declared complete at 10.06 WIB.
The snake is known to be a python and has a length of approximately 2 meters.
