Shoppers stocked up on mooncakes in London's Chinatown ahead of the annual Mid-Autumn Festival, celebrating the rice harvest, which this year falls on September 10th.
A selection of the cakes in colourful tins seen in this clip filmed on September 9th, are made out of lotus seed paste covered in pastry - its round shape symbolises completeness.
Giant red lanterns were added to the smaller ones lining the street, adding to the festive atmosphere.
