A man used corn kernels to form a giant mooncake ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival in central China.

The impressive video was filmed in Shangqiu City in Henan Province on August 31.

Embracing the rich tapestry of traditional mooncakes, the artisan ingeniously placed the Chinese word "Wuren" at the centre of his kernel creation, paying homage to one of the most classic and adored mooncake flavours.

He further embellished the radiant pattern with the Chinese inscription "Yuebing" which means mooncake underneath.

Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival celebrated in Chinese culture which is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunisolar calendar with a full moon at night.
