Jealous pet pit bull named 'Nazi' savages owner for 'feeding stray dogs'
A woman was savaged by her possessive pet pit bull named 'Nazi' after it became jealous while she was a feeding stray dog.
Supaporn Wangjulklang, 60, kindly gave a plate of cooked meat to the hungry pooch wandering outside her home on Monday evening.
However, the furious six-year-old devil dog - bizarrely named after the former German political party - bounded out of the home.
Snarling Nazi leapt at its loyal owner and plunged its fangs into her shoulder. Blood poured onto the ground as Supaporn screamed for help in the residential street in Nakhon Ratchasima, northeast Thailand.
Supaporn's husband, Top, 65, soon arrived to stop the dog by opening the pit bull's jaws with a metal pole, while another family member also helped to drag away the dog.
The housewife suffered a deep laceration to her upper arm where the beast had bitten her and she was rushed to the hospital.
The shaken husband said: 'I needed to put a rope around his neck and pull it out really hard.'
Relatives believe Nazi attacked its owner because she was feeding another dog, which had the nickname Khao, and often walked the streets in search of food. The angry pet dog then tried to stop Supaporn from feeding it.
A neighbour who used to care for Nazi while the owner was away said: 'Normally the pit bull would not be released and kept solely inside the fence, but today since the husband was home, he left the gate open.'
Neighbours called the emergency services and the 'Hook 31 rescue unit' arrived shortly after 2pm local time. Supaporn received first aid at the scene before being taken to the hospital.
Nazi was put back in its cage and the rescue team submitted its report on the incident to the local police, who have not started an investigation into the incident.
