Naturists start naked yoga sessions as pandemic fears ease in Bangkok, Thailand
Nudists can finally ditch their masks - and clothes - to take part in naked yoga sessions in Bangkok.
The unusual activity in the Thai capital had been one of the victims of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
But with mask mandates scrapped and fears of the virus fading, naturists are peeling off their garments to start their beloved outdoor naked yoga sessions again.
Footage shows the exhibitionist taking part in a Saturday afternoon session at the Barefeet Naturist Resort in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 17.
Nudist Gregers Moller, one of the men taking part, said: 'When people come here, some step out of a Benz, some step out of a Toyota and when they come in they take off their clothes which they have taken off the signal of the expensive label they have, they take off the social status that comes with their clothes and realise we are all the same.
'This is why we're so happy we have our teacher to take us that step further to find our true selves deeper than our naked bodies, so we go beyond being naked and even deeper to finding our true selves.'
Lek, one of the few women taking part, added: ‘When we do yoga with our clothes on it feels sticky. Once we do naked yoga it's very free, when we have sweats it dries up very fast.'
Yoga instructor Prakadao Baengsunita said that naked yoga was held to allow the participants to discover their true selves on a deeper level than their naked bodies.
She added: 'Yoga is the thing that brings you back to your true selves, to be proud of yourself, to be happy by yourself and then connect yourself to others and to the world.
'I realise the key point of naturism is the same as yoga, they believe in themselves and they are proud and confident in themselves.'
