Bus brakes to avoid running over cyclist knocked over by car door in China
A bus braked suddenly to avoid running over a cyclist who was knocked over by a car door in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Mianyang in Sichuan Province on September 6 shows a car door suddenly being pushed open, knocking a cyclist off their bike.
The bus behind the cyclist performed an emergency brake to avoid running her over.
Some passengers did not hold the handles on the bus and lost their balance as the vehicle jolted. Three passengers and the cyclist were injured.
The car driver named Chen who pushed the door open was blamed for the incident.
