This is the hilarious moment a boyfriend body slammed his girlfriend to the floor when she surprised him after spending six months apart.

Christian Erwin had just returned home to Ontario, Canada, from bible school in Hawaii, US, at the beginning of March when he settled down to play the piano.

Hysterical footage shows the 18-year-old look stunned as his girlfriend Lizzy walks around the corner before he leaps from his stool and tackles her to the floor.

With Christian’s mum Jenny and dad Ken laughing in the background, he shouts "oh my gosh" before picking her up off the ground and carrying her across the living room.

Christian said: “I had been away at bible school in Hawaii for six months, so I hadn't seen Lizzy that entire time.

“For the last three months I only had access to Wi-Fi once a week as well, so we weren't able to talk much either.

“Lizzy had told me she was down in North Carolina so I didn't even know she was in the country.

“My whole family kept the secret super well, because they went along pretending to help me plan my drive down to North Carolina where I was supposed to be picking her up.

“My reaction was so crazy. I just couldn't believe she was right there in the same room as me, after so long.

“Obviously, I reacted fast and went to hug her but ran so quickly that we both fell. Thankfully she's fine but she definitely made my year at that moment.”
